my new site is finally here. i started development on serpula lacrymans back on 12/16/2024, though i had ideas of making a more "adult/disturbing" oriented site even farther back. for now it is a bit bare, but over time more will be added and designs may change across the pages. from what i have so far though i am very proud of it. i wanted to experiment with designs and techniques i never tried before.
i think mentally i needed to make this site. my interests in topics of a more morbid and sexual nature is something i've been surpressing for a very long time. and it was driving me insane. i wrote in my previous entry about how being within "antishipper" spaces really broke me. its what made me deny my interest in such things for so many years.
2024 started the journey of me learning to embrace myself again after leaving those communities. and so here is 2025, taking another step in that journey, and along with that came this site. i love coding, so why shy away from incorporating my more "darker" interests into that? ofc, some fandoms on here are more tame than others, but i wanted to include anything i deemed "too adult/disturbing" on here.
this site probably will be mostly btd themed, since thats one of the first things i started loving again. it was such a huge hyperfixation of mine so many years ago, i could never truly let go of it. i do want to incorporate elements of my interests though in the future, such as more nitro+chiral stuff and other things. but btd is my number 1, its really helped me heal in so many ways.
anyway, i do have some ideas in mind for the future of this site. i do want to make shrines, of course, for my interests. i also want to make a BTD/TPOF/YKMET/whatever webring at some point too. maybe a nitro+chiral one as well further on! i also want to make a button too at some point, just got to think of a design for it. i might also update my "who am i" page since i'm not 100% satisfied with it.
here's to a new year, a new site, and a journey of self love and self discovery.
